Evolved from the robust and reliable core technology found in MaxSim TSS air traffic control simulator, comes Adacel’s latest entry into the market of flight training scenario rehearsal training. Air Traffic Control in a Box (ATCiB) provides an automated ATC environment application that will allow pilots, instructors and evaluators of all levels of Aviation Training Devices (ATD) to interact with simulated air traffic controller(s) through the use of Adacel’s speech recognition system (SRS).

This system adds realism and creates ground and air traffic, as well as party line chatter, that is within the context of airspace and training scenarios. Adacel’s application generates this without being obtrusive or interfering with ownship training objectives.

Adacel has deployed a layer of Artificial Intelligence, using its Intelligent Communications Environment (ICE) technology, thus allowing ATCiB to control and support various training elements.

ATCiB is available as a complete stand-alone training package with an included flight simulation, or as a system fully integrated with any existing flight training device or flight simulator.
