UAV Mission Simulator
The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Mission Simulator is a generic ground control UAV operator’s station that simulates the geographical environments and operations of UAV pilots and payload specialists. The UAV Mission Simulator simulates the flight characteristics any type of unmanned air vehicle.
Uses of the Mission Simulator include:
Train UAV operators to operate within shared manned & unmanned airspace.
 Practice crew coordination between pilot and payload specialist
Mission rehearsal and coordination between security forces and UAV
Border patrol and port security training
Features of the UAV Mission Simulator include:
Geo specific 3D visual databases - ports, harbors, airports, desert
Land based and maritime surveillance operations
Ground Control and Operator’s Station
People, vehicles, ships, boats, cars, aircraft
Definable conditions - visibility, rain, snow, changing conditions, time of day.
Automatic and/or manual takeoff landings, routes, ground taxiing parking etc.
Configurable UAV payload, including, laser ranging, cameras, automatic target tracking, GTMI (Ground Target Motion Indicator),
 Overhead map with depicting UAV location
Scalable – multiple UAV stations can be collaborate within a single scenario.
Communications Simulator
Individual or combined Pilot & Payload Specialist operation.

Border surveillance operations can be coordinated with other border patrol assets by combining the system with Adacel’s VAST Interactive Security Simulator. The VAST simulator provides simulation of ground based sensors, surveillance video and security patrol operations of a 3D virtual facility or geographic area.
